SYRIA - BACK TO THE FUTURE FOR CONSER
Since the bold move by founder and director Mr. Azmi Haroun back to his homeland (Lattakia - Syria) for the purpose of retiring to his citrus and olive farm, the Syria branch has witnessed an exceptional boost in the last two years, and has now re-established CONSER as one of the leading consultancies in the country.
At the onset, CONSER was awarded the detail design of the Eighth Gate project by Emaar developed by Singapore architects SRSS.
Soon after, CONSER was awarded a number of projects from local and international investors. These are:
- Arwad Island resort
- Jaber City Center
- Gardenia Hotel
- Golden Bay Resort
- Kadmous Hotel
With the main developments being in the hospitality field, CONSER is quickly becoming a regional leader in creating stunning architecture that is meeting the needs and requirements of this growth industry.
CONSER has earned the trust and the respect of the Union of Syrian Engineers by granting it the contract for the development of a prime project for them as well as by giving Mr. Azmi Haroun the privelage of becoming a senior Chartered Engineer registered with them.
OMAN - OPENNING OF ASHKARA SHANNA ROAD
Muscat - 6th May 2007
With the presence of HE Mohammad Bin Ahmad Al Harthy - Government Council - the first phase of the Ashkara Shanna road that has been designed and supervised by CONSER was opened for traffic.
Traversing through Sabkha and large dunes and navigating alongside some of the most prestine beaches in the Arabian Peninsula, the road will provide tourism access as well as local access to some of the fishing villages in the area.
With a length of 60 Km for the first phase out of a total of 214 km for the overall project, the road consists of two single carriageway lanes with hard shoulder.
